Ways To Donate:
Annual Friends Campaign
This year, when you sit down to write a check to a non-profit organization, we hope that you will consider a gift to Family and Children’s Services of Central New Jersey. Last year, more than 2100 families received treatment and intervention services, and that figure is expected to increase this year. We reach individuals who are combating mental health and relationship issues. We mentor children and their families in crisis. We connect with the under-served elderly and work with those individuals overcoming substance abuse. We offer a variety of prevention programs aimed at strengthening families before problems surface, but should they surface (as they often do) we also provide intensive in-home counseling for families in which child abuse and neglect have been identified by the state.
Many of our programs are dependent upon contributions from individual donors. Please know that whatever you can afford to give your dollars will be put to work immediately and directed to help children and their families.
Tribute & Memorial Program
Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or other celebrations are a perfect time to honor loved ones with tribute cards. For a donation of $25 or more, we will send the recipient a beautiful acknowledgement card in your name. Memorial cards are also available to remember a departed friend or family member. It’s a wonderful way to show your support of Family and Children’s Services of Central New Jersey, and pay tribute to others. "Adopt a Family" through the Princeton Holiday Fund
We see it in their faces and hear it in their voices. For many parents and grandparents, the struggle to provide for their families basic necessities throughout the year sharply intensifies at the holiday season and leaves little room for any of the extras enjoyed by those more fortunate.Although Family and Children’s Services of Central New Jersey, Inc. works with many families who are struggling, each November we strive to assist those most in need. For many years, our agency was able to answer almost all requests for Holliday Food Baskets through our staffs’ personal donations and, in some cases, by referring families to other organizations. When the need grew beyond what we could do alone, we established the Adopt A Family program. We invite individuals, families, businesses, schools, service groups, and other organizations to share the spirit of the holidays by meeting the needs of a designated family. Typically, this personalized donation includes nonperishable food, new toys, gifts, clothing, household necessities, and gift certificates. Out of respect for the dignity and privacy of our families, we cannot disclose identifying information, but we can share their story and wish list - as well as their heartfelt gratitude. For those who cannot adopt a family, individual toys and gifts are always welcomed and needed.
Every gift is an expression of caring that brings joy and hope to both the giver and the recipient. To learn more please contact Carol Sindone at (732) 545-0366 ext. or e-mail at
